Thank you to those that responded to the survey.  It was a BIG help in deciding future happenings. Some of your requests are already in progress.

 1.  I’m learning new things to jazz up this newsletter. Enjoy the change. Let me know if there seems to be something missing and I’ll consider it for next time.

 2.  More activities and events including video communication. That will be another learning curve for me.  I’ll start practicing on Microsoft’s movie maker. 

 3.  Tips and Exercises. January’s Tip: Breathe: Breathing deeply increases the oxygen to your brain and brings more clarity to your consciousness.  Remind yourself periodically through the day to take deeper breaths and eventually it will be an automatic process.

 4.  Online Classes. I will be developing a list of monthly classes to be held online. These will be held on Tues, Sat or Sun. The best times mentioned are 1-3pm, 6-7pm or 7-8pm.  Yes, I will compensate for the East Coast time difference.

 5.  Webinars. These will be set up once a month with a limit of 30 people.  When I announce the webinar date and time then you may sign up for this. Currently it will be held through freeconferencecall.com.

 

     

Monthly Question: How can I quiet the many thoughts buzzing through my head, sometimes known as monkey mind?

 6.  Answer:  Begin taking 15-20 minutes daily away from all your activities and events.  This includes being away from your computer, cell phone, X-box and any other distractions. Breathe deeply for 3 breaths and then let your breath go back to normal.

 
  If your mind is still filled with thoughts, then jot down on a piece of paper all the many task and ideas you are hearing. After a while the thoughts should calm down.

Jan-1-2012 Clarity of Mind

     What will it take to clear your mind? The first question to ask yourself is what is in your mind? Thoughts? Words? Ideas? Sounds? Memories? Pictures? It doesn’t matter what is there. What does matter is what you do with it.  The 1st key is to determine what is on your mind.  What thoughts or ideas are swirling around in there? What might you be thinking that could be cluttering up that space in there?

 

How to clear:

 1.  Pick one thought and write about it for 5 minutes until it seems there is no more.

 2.  Next pick another thought and write about it for 5 more minutes.

       Do this for at least 20 to 30 minutes.

 3.  If you still find that your mind is full of thoughts that seem to be blocking out what you

      really want to work on, then it’s time for plan B!

 
Plan B - Engage intention:

 Sit quietly and send out with your intention, specific words that indicate you want your mind to be cleared.

 
Example: “I clear my mind of thoughts and cluttered thinking. My mind is clear.”

 
Repeat this a few times until it seems as thought the rapid speed of thoughts and ideas slow down. At first, you may find that the thoughts just keep coming. 

 
Programming: Remember you have conditioned yourself with a habit to constantly have these thoughts roaming around.  Every time you pick up a book, magazine, email, Facebook, or any other means of input into your mind, you are programming yourself.  You are asking the intricate device of your intelligence to wrap itself around the data and store it for possible future use.  Sometimes you don’t give it a category to store it in so your mind suspends it and lets it float around until you decide what to do with it.

 
Reprogramming:  Ask yourself if what you are consuming (data) is that important that you have to keep consuming (eating) it.  When you can answer this question then you will know a little bit more of why you are consuming so much.  When you randomly pick up what is in front of you then your mind still processes it but doesn’t always know why you are doing this.

 
Reason:  Give it a reason.  Tell it what this means to you or what value it has.  Maybe even give it a category.  You might be watching a movie and tell yourself that this is recreation.  If you just watch the movie then your mind doesn’t know if it’s education, recreation, instruction, filling the time, etc. 

 
Redirect: Ask yourself to redirect any extra thoughts to help you in your everyday life. When you have so much data floating around then maybe putting it to good use would be more helpful. Send out with your intention that the data you are collecting, even if it’s watching a movie, be of use to you somehow.  Now your intuitive part of your mind can take each morsel of information and analyze it to give you value.  When this is in place then you will be much happier that you are using your time wisely.

 
Intuition: Remember your intuitive sense is active 24/7 and on alert just waiting for you to beckon and activate it. You have a valuable tool just waiting in the wings to be tapped into at a moments notice. If you leave this part of yourself dormant then out of respect for your “self will” it will patiently wait until you are ready to use it.  Think of it as a chemistry book on the shelf.  You may not need that much technical info in your daily life but when you want to use it then it’s there.

 
Repetition: Take what you have just learned and repeat it until it is an automatic process.  Your brain has a set of neurological pathways to the brain that are on a well worn path.  Changing or introducing something new takes time to create its own neurological pathway. Once that new pathway is well worn like the rest or even greater then your mind can automatically go down the new pathway instead.  Think of it like cruise control on your steering wheel.  

 
Be Thankful:  Give yourself some validation of what you have already accomplished.  If you are thinking that you are not changing things as fast as you want then you are putting in negative thoughts.  Be tender with yourself and just take it one step at a time.  You took years to create the old habits so why would this new habit be formed instantly? It is possible to create it faster because you already know the steps it takes to do so but let’s not pressure yourself into performance anxiety. It will come to fruition when the vibration shifts to the new habit.

 
Appreciate: Give yourself 5 things you appreciate about yourself daily to ground yourself and reward yourself for just being human.  This will bring you more confidence and self esteem.

 
Journey forth and enjoy this new pathway for this great year you are now entering.   

 

NEWS:

I have been doing more networking to meet new people and get reacquainted with previous contacts. I’m more and more aware of how valuable you all are and would love to reach out and connect to you all personally right now.  Obviously that is not possible, so I’ll be calling or emailing my list a little at a time.  Know that I appreciate you being there and your eagerness to see what I cook up next.

I feel like I’ve been in creative mode and putting together some great ideas for the near future. My first priority it to get my first e-book completed which I have a January 31st date to complete.  Those of you that have been patiently waiting for the finished product can be sure that this is the year it gets completed. The working title is “The New Guide to Psychic Awareness” but that could change as I get feedback on what is popular on the internet.

I’m taking an online internet marketing course with is power packed with lots of ideas and training.  I have been in webinar class 4 nights a week.  I feel like I’m back in college cramming for an exam.  There are so many tools and techniques to master.  It all seems a bit daunting at first but I think I’ve got the hang of it now and feel much more productive and on track with my goals.

This month I’d like to highlight Joe Wozniak a well informed health practitioner.  I met Joe through the Arizona Holistic Health Chamber almost 6 years ago. I was searching for someone to read my blood report and tell me what I needed to change in order to feel better. Joe has a wealth of knowledge and works with clients outside Arizona as well.

TIPS AND EXERCISES. January’s Tip: Awareness – Slowly look all around you and take in your environment (even if you are at work).  Begin to be more observant of all things that you see and feel.  The more you train yourself to be in tune, the easier it will be to raise your awareness and keep it there automatically.

 

     

Monthly Question: When I meditate I get antsy and want to get up and move around? What can I do to sit still?

 

 Answer:  Prepare your meditation session by making sure you are comfortable. Have you been to the bathroom first? Have you eaten enough so you won’t feel hungry? Have you dressed comfortable? Have you placed a blanket near by in case you need it? Do you have enough pillows to sit comfortably? Once you are situated, breathe deeply until you seem more relaxed.

If thoughts race through your mind at this point, thank them and ask them to move along.  If there be any thoughts you must remember for later then ask those important items to be refreshed in your mind as soon as the meditation session is over.  Your intuition will remind you of significant thoughts later.  Have a paper and writing instrument handy for when you come out of the meditation.  That way you won’t forget the important things you received.

Jan-19-2012 Simplicity

 Do you feel like your life is a little cluttered? Then look around and see what you can do to simplify. What will it take to feel a little more comfortable about all this stuff around you? What is it and why did you accumulate it in the first place? Does it still have meaning to you? Do you just need to get a box and put it away out of sight?

 



DECLUTTER:

1.  SELECT: Pick one area that you are aware of that just doesn’t feel right to you energetically. You will know which one this is because you have already noted this several times as you pass by that location. 

2.  REVIEW: Look around the area and assess the situation.  Is it that you just need to clean up the area?  Is it that you just haven’t liked the layout for a while and need to rearrange things? Maybe a little Feng Shui would help in adjusting the energy flow. You would be amazed what happens when just a few items get moved around in a room.

 

3.  REEVALUATE: Decide if there is anything you feel needs to be thrown out.  Have you been hanging onto things because you might need that items “someday?”  Well, now is the day to determine if this is stopping you from having a more successful life.  Why did you save that item in the first place? Was it because you have a rescue mentality? Is it because you just don’t know what else to do with it but tuck it away and know that you will have it for later (just in case)? Time to consider if you need to release some things.
